Arthur is a very happy, kind and loving boy. He loves Toy Story and his favourite character is Buzz Lightyear, so my profile picture is perfect to represent him!
Arthur was diagnosed with autism in 2022 at age 5. Arthur has speech and language difficulties and comminucates using learned phrases and gestures.
We have come to understand Arthur’s wants and needs, however more understanding is needed in general from the wider public to expand their knowledge and acceptance of autism.
I’m walking to help raise awareness of autism and help encourage others to increase their knowledge and understanding of autism. We hope that, in time, everyone who meets our son can engage with him and make him feel included.
