The reason why I'm participating.

Autism is often misunderstood, but it’s a unique way of experiencing the world. Many autistic individuals perceive details others overlook, think in incredible patterns, and feel emotions deeply—even if they don't express them in conventional ways. Just because someone is nonverbal or communicates differently doesn’t mean they aren’t speaking. Their voice exists in their actions, their art, their presence, and the energy they bring into a space.

Autism is a superpower in many ways. Some have extraordinary memory, intense focus, or an ability to understand systems and patterns beyond what neurotypical minds grasp. Others bring raw creativity, deep empathy, or a perspective that challenges societal norms. The world is richer because of neurodivergent minds—many of history’s greatest innovators, artists, and thinkers likely saw the world through a similar lens.

The challenge isn’t autism itself; it’s a society that struggles to listen when communication isn’t conventional. When we take the time to understand, adapt, and appreciate, we realize that autistic voices are everywhere—just waiting for the world to hear them.
