Why Am I Doing This?

I will be running 40km in October for my beautiful daughter Lyla, as part of Run For Autism UK.

Lyla was diagnosed with Autism at just 2 years old after being referred to speech and language due to her speech being delayed. Lyla has recently started primary school and remains non-verbal, which is a whole new adventure and challenge for her. She is such a loving and amazing young girl who takes everything in her stride!

I am not a runner and have not run any meaningful distance for a number of years, so this will be a challenge for me! My two sons have said they will join me taking on this challenge (let’s see how long that lasts!). 

I have set my sights on raising £100, but it would be amazing if we can get above this total. Any size donation will be greatly appreciated as it will all help this wonderful cause.
