How to be a fantastic fundraiser

1. Create your page

Your online fundraising page is your stage!  Upload a photo and tell your autism story.  It may be funny, it may be emotional but it has to be real.  Why are you doing this?  Think about why you are doing this andwho you are doing this for.

2. Share, share and share again

Share your page on social media, by email, text and Whatsapp.  Your wonderful friends and family are busy people so make sure to share your page regulary and give them a gentle reminder about just how awesome you are for doing this fundraiser.

3. Make the first donation to your page

This is the single most important thing you can do to show how committed you are and your friends and family will soon follow.  We'll even send you a T-shirt when your page hits £20.

We'll be cheering you along every step of the way!

We can't wait to see you wearing your T-Shirt with pride

We will send all our fantastic fundraisers an awesome Autism Intiatives T-shirt or running vest when your fundraising page hits £20!

A Little About Us

About Our Charity

Supported Living

Autism Initiatives provide supported living services to autistic people, supporting people with autism to live life as independently as possible.

Individuals have their own flats, and the reassurance that onsite support is on hand should they need it. When Tim started living in one of our supported living flats he said:

"I found shelter under the Autism Initiatives umbrella. I can look forward to the future now."

Educational Support

Autism Initiatives have autism specialist schools and a college.  They provide a specialist environment which is flexible and responsive to children and young people's needs.

Autism Initiatives also provide Educational Support to children in school and at home, providing advice and training to teachers and parents.

"They have provided so much regular and consistent support that my child is experiencing his best year in primary school."

One Stop Shops

In Scotland there are One Stop Shops, where autistic people can access support and advice for everyday life.

Accessing support for everything from form filling to developing friendship groups.

It has been a lifesaver. I have met new people after being isolated for years.
