We're walking for not only our own children, but all Autistic children and adults.
Nurturing Neurodivergent Families is a small informal support group created by us. We have regular meet ups with other parents/carers of Neurodivergent children, we share our lived experiences, the highs, the lows, laughter and sometimes tears.
Our group is a safe space, a place where all feelings are valid and parents/carers come for advice and support from others who have similar experiences.
We have hopes for the future to expand, becoming a registered community group. Giving the opportunity to more parents/carers to join us as we support each other with true understanding and a commitment towards making the world a better place for all Autistic individuals.
Our Team are stepping up to Walk for Autism to show how much we all care about autism.
We will be cheering each other on in our team to walk 10,000 steps every day for 8 days. We are all committed to raising much needed funds to support autistic children and adults in the UK and Ireland and also help to spread autism acceptance and understanding.
