To get started on his challenge of completing 80,000 steps in 8 days for a cause that is very close to his heart and ours as a family. Scottie was diagnosed with autism in August 2022. It was a shock to him when we sat him down and explained autism to him. He has used his unique powers to conquer many things. His determination to succeed is phenomenal and an absolute credit to the beautiful young man that he is. Our Team are stepping up to Walk for Autism to show how much we all care about autism.
We will be cheering each other on in our team to walk 10,000 steps every day for 8 days. We are all committed to raising much needed funds to support autistic children and adults in the UK and Ireland and also help to spread autism acceptance and understanding.
