My Walk for Autism Challenge

Total 80,472 steps

My goal 80000 steps

Theo

When my son, Theo, was 9 months old, his mum shared with me her concerns about how he was developing. I shrugged them off. He was so young. so in my mind he was bound to be a bit behind other babies I guess they see their fair share of paranoid parents every year, and children do develop at different rates. Three months later I was coming around to my wife’s way of thinking, and I agreed that something wasn’t quite right. Various trips to doctors and consultants followed, and by the time Theowas 2 year old he was given a diagnosis. Autism.

So I'd like to do this walk to support orther parents and children who are dealing with this just like we are facing this moment in time. I would like to say I would never change Theo for the world. Its hard to adapt to his way of thinking or the way he like things but I do like a challenge.  her concerns about how he was developing. I shrugged them off. Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
