About me
I’m Addie and I’m 36 a mother of 4 wonderful children. My son has autism and has shown me his strengths on a daily basis without the help of his teachers my family and friends I don’t know how I would have got through some bad days. Currently going through the same process with my daughter. I am lucky to work in a school with wonderful people and amazing children SEND and mainstream they teach me resilience every day. I also am a agoraphobic work is my safe space as I do not like going anywhere I panic etc so I’m pushing myself to walk 10.000 steps a day with a wonderful friend we will walk after work to make up our steps.Im walking for everyone, my son has Autism and although it took 10 years for me to be listened to when he got his diagnosis a weight was lifted from him he relaxed. His favourite saying to me was “mum why can’t your brain work like mine”
