I'm Walking for Arya ♡

I’ll be walking 10,000 steps a day on March 26th to April 2nd to raise funds for this incredible charity.

Raising awareness for Autism is something I am very passionate about. As those close to me know, my daughter Arya has ASD. When we first received the diagnosis, I was overwhelmed with fear, anger, and sadness, knowing that Arya’s life would be so different from what I had envisioned. Being a SEND parent (or supporting anyone with additional needs) brings challenges you never expected. After a tough few years of fighting for the right support and interventions for my superstar, Arya is starting to thrive and grow at her own pace. We've adapted to her world, and now I can't imagine life any other way. Our journey is full of ups and downs, but I am beyond grateful to have my beautiful daughter and to be her number one supporter.

ASD is a part of Arya, but it doesn’t define her. Too many children and adults with ASD face discrimination and lack the inclusion they deserve. It's time for the world to adjust and provide a safe, welcoming space for everyone to feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

This year's walk for Autism starts on Arya's 4th birthday, 26th March. So get your trainers on, get those steps in, and support a great cause.
