I'm walking for...... Leo
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
As many of you know my absolute amazing son Leo has been diagnosed with ASD. He is not only my son but my bestest friend. Leo is Leo.... his diagnosis does not define him. He is funny, kind, smart and caring with the most extensive knowledge of space that I can only compare to the knowledge of Neil Armstrong! Although he sees his autism as a superpower in many ways, he also faces the struggles that only a neurodivergent person can understand living in a neurotypical world. That is why I would love to spread awareness and understanding so that the world is more inclusive for Leo and others like him :)
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
