The Big Walk

What an amazing day! Today Team Sakura headed out very excited for the day ahead. The weather was in our favour and we ventured across the meadows. The boys did so well, supporting each other and stopping along the way to find the perfect walking sticks! We reached the half way point at Latton and had a quick snack before heading down the home straight, encouraged by the promise of pizza! Each student completed over 10,000 steps and the walk totalled 6.2km!

Hi there! We are all pupils and staff from a small school for children with additional learning needs and we are walking to celebrate our differences and support other children like us!

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
