I’m raising funds for autism! Please sponsor me today! I’m taking part in the Walk for Autism challenge. I’ll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26 March to 2 April. Please sponsor me. Anything helps . Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every person on the autism spectrum has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

Autisim isn’t just the sensory overload and the traits everyone talks about. It’s the difficulties in social, emotional and communication interactions we need for every day life. Not everyone is ‘a bit autistic’ these difficulties vary from each autistic person where they need extra support in their daily life to fulfil different tasks. With the right support and understanding I truely believe all autistic person can thrive and achieve anything they wish to. It’s more than just ‘naughty behaviour’. 

A little bit of time, understanding and support is all it takes to make a difference for autistic people and their families. So my 10,000 steps a day for 8 days is nothing compared to the lack of understanding the world shows today. 

Thank you Kaison for opening mummy’s world into the autistic world and letting me look through the world with your eyes, to how amazing the autistic brain is. For someone with limited language you’re so clever and achieving so much, I have loved being apart of every step with you so far and look forward to all your next steps and milestones. Keep shining bright, being exactly who you are baby boy, you have nothing to fear as mummy is behind you in life every step of the way! 💙
