My autistim awareness

I am walking for autism because, as someone who was diagnosed later in life, I know how challenging it can be to understand oneself and navigate the world without the right support. For years, I struggled with feelings of being misunderstood, isolated, and unsure of why I processed things differently from those around me. This walk is not just for me, but for all those like me who are still finding their path. It’s a way to raise awareness, foster understanding, and let others know that no matter when they’re diagnosed, their experiences and challenges are valid. I’m walking to help create a world that is more inclusive, compassionate, and supportive for those with autism—no matter their age or stage in life.

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
