I'm walking for my beautiful son Kylo
I will be participating in the Walk For Autism again this year as raising Autism Awareness is something I am very passionate about. My beautiful son Kylo is Autistic and I had absolutely no idea how significant and challenging this disorder is before I had my son. It saddens me to admit that I was ignorant and lacked knowledge on how this disorder affects each autistic individual, and actually what Autism is.As Kylos parents, we endure challenges every single day to get Kylo to engage in every day activities. This can range from getting dressed, leaving the house, or even having a light on. These challenges range massively, and affect not only Kylos home and social life, but his education too. This is why it is so important to me that we can raise as much awareness as possible! Because the more understanding and awareness about Autism there is, the more help and support can be provided to autistic individuals to feel inclusive and safe.
