Total 90,489 steps

My goal 80000 steps

Day 8 - Last and final day 💚🌻♾️

2.4.24 - World Autism Acceptance day 🌈 We’ve completed our step challenge,  despite all being unwell on our week off 🙈 We’ve done our best to make sure we did 10,000 min a day! And, we’re going to try and carry it on now too! Thank you once again for all donations 😘💚🌈🌻

Day 7 - Goal met!

1.4.24 (that is just crazy right?!) April Fools, this is not! We’ve reached our 80,000 steps goal with one day to go! So we’ll do as many as we can on World Autism Awareness Day (2nd April) and to raise awareness for #AutismAcceptanceWeek to get that total higher! ☺️ 🧩🌻💚

Day 6

32.3.24. - Easter Sunday - another stroll out with friends to the pub! I like this way of getting in the 10k 😊 Still coldy and wheezy but sunny bank holiday days are very rare so we plough on through! We hope you all had a blessed day 💚🌻🧩

Day 5

30.3.24 The sun helped spur us along Saturday! About time! A local game of football and a walk to the pub garden, what great incentive to get 10k steps! 💚🧩🌻

Day 4 - Joint effort 💚

I’ve been struck down with the 2nd illness in a month, so I just have been feeling rotten today. 2,000 around the house before Byron stepped up (pun intended) and used my Fitbit and took his Dad out for a walk. They did 10,000 just them and we’re going to end the day on about 14k. I’ve felt absolutely poo, so will do all I can to get back to it tomorrow 🤧 Can’t believe I finally have a week off and I’m suffering for it! Typical! I think, we’ll be nearing a 100,000 steps over the time if we stay on track, which is rather exciting! 🧩🌻💚 I just need to keep it up now, no excuses! Except the weather, that can be blamed for everything! 🥶🌬️🌧️

Day 3 - Blown away 🌬️🥶

Day 3 - 28.3.24 - going to be very British now, bloody weather! Incredibly windy here today. Morning school run and a walk with Roman (via the bakery) first thing, which helped! A trip to town and a coffee with friends, before back out on the school run. Job done before 4pm. Which is good, because first day of my leave and I feel fluey, sinusy and generally a little poo! Won’t stop us I promise 🧩🌻💚 Thank you all 🌈

Day 2- just about complete!

Day 2 27.3.24- Difficult days now over! Now that work is over until the challenge is complete I invisage it being a much simpler task! Only the rain to contend with! The step counter on the site isn’t working, for me or many others which is annoying! So may have to manually add them, but I’m giving it a few days! See gallery for evidence 🤣 Definitely should have put the step counter on the eldest today! Thank you for continued support and words of encouragement 💚🌻🧩

Day 1 - completed it mate

Day 1 - Tues 26.3.24. A working day, always going to be a challenge due to long hours and sat in front of a screen working from home. Did a few thousand steps with Byron at the end of the day, and had to go out again in the dark and rain to make sure I didn’t fail on the first day 🙈 The steps counter on this page is all askew, so I have added the photo of the watch when I got in to make sure you all know we are doing it! I think it’s going to be a soggy week! Standard! Thank you for continuing to donate. 🌻🧩💚

Today’s the day! Day 1 💚

Morning! Today and tomorrow will definitely be our trickiest days. I’m lucky if I do 3k all in on a work day, so will need to put the extra effort in! Thank you for your continued donations, smashed our target! You guys!!! ❤️ Right, better get moving! And re-sync my Fitbit! I promise not to use the 6k I’ve already accidentally added 😜

Hamble River Country park

Been out enjoying the sunshine today and getting some fresh air and steps in with the boys and friends! Some crabbing, and an ice cream stop too! Thank you to everyone who is supporting us, we have hit and surpassed our target with 2 days to go until we start! Thank you, thank you 🧩🌻

Only a few days to go!

Hi all - thank you for visiting and donating! With a few days to go, we’re gearing up to charge up the Fitbit (synced far to early, hence the steps already counted! Oops!) and practicing our walking without the pram! Roman is doing so well! I’m hoping both boys will get involved as much as they can over the 8 days. We’ll be on a break together, so no excuses! We’ve done 10,000 today walking the school run, cleaning and running around with our Portage Key worker! Phew! Thanks to everyone willing to support and raise awareness - all our love, Team Richens 💙

I'm walking for Roman

I’m raising funds for autism! If you are able to and would like to support please do sponsor. I’m taking part in the Walk for Autism challenge. I’ll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26 March to 2 April. Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every person on the autism spectrum has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
