Walk for Autism for our son Peter.
We have been on one hell of a journey the past two years, it looks a lot different to the typical day in the life of a toddler. Along the way we were made aware that our handsome son Peter was a little different. This was a shock at first but we have embraced his differences and wouldn’t change him for the world. Appointments, meetings, sunflower programs, seedlings, EHCPs, meetings with the sen case worker, sensory toys, sensory diets, plain foods, dairy Lea dunkers 🤣 everything it takes to make sure he has all the support he needs for the best start in life. He is truly one in a million, all his quirks and knowledge is absolutely outstanding for a 4 year old. We wouldn’t change him for the world, however there is no where near enough support and research into ASD, so if we can do our bit to help, that’s what we are going to do, we appreciate every little help and donation!I'm walking for...... Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
