My Walk for Autism Challenge

Dexter
Mange to get Dexter out on a long walk up my family's fields acres of space for hin to run around in and be free we did just. Over 10 thousands steps Sunday and he loved every mintue of it see updated profile pic, of a picture we took while walking, it doesn't let me upload photos on here but greatful for everyone support, two days left untill we have completed our challenge xxWalks this week
So far this week i have walked, around Tredegar Park, walked around my local area and made by way to view point to enjoy thr views with a coffee, I have walked around my local park beechwood park, today was a treadmill walk at home, but I have mangae each day to go over 10,000 steps. I'm hoping to get Dexter out for a walk with me to before the weekend is over. Thank you once again everyone love hollie and Dexter xmy boy Dexter
My 8 year old boy Dexter is non verbal autistic and has been diagnosed with adhd. At birth, he was deprived of oxygen for 13 minutes and we were told it was a critical 48 hours. If there was no sign of any brain activity then we would have to prepare for the worst. Fast forward 8 years and he is the funniest child I know. He is my little shadow, doesn't leave me alone but I wouldn't change it, although he has his meltdowns and I end up with injuries. I've also had to run like im doing the 100m sprint when he's escaped out of the house.Dexter
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
