I just want to make awareness that Autism affects people you wouldn’t expect
I used to be confused about why I sees things differently to others, Why my brain is always 100mph. The number of times I have been disciplined in sport and school for not maintaining eye contact when being spoken to.
This would upset me and make me want to hide away
Being diagnosed haven’t changed anything or who I am, but it helped me learned more about myself, understand why in certain situations I see things differently to other people or why I act in a different way to other people
I try so hard everyday so hard to learn how to manage my emotions
I'm walking for......
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
