Our Journey
I'd like to tell you a little about our story, Bailey is 2 1/2 years old, we noticed signs of autism at around 14 months old and we also have autism in the family so we were aware there may be a genetic link, Bailey is currently waiting on diagnosis as we go through the journey of navigating diagnosis and the one part of this that I feel needs highlighting is how at the beginning of all of this I found it incredibly difficult to navigate and understand who I needed to speak to seek medical advice and help, where could I get support and information from and why was this all so hard to find out?! Walk for autism is all about getting people talking and information is key and talking more about this is the only way we can help. Bailey is iur absolute little superstar and we are so proud of her, sure life can be hard and unpredictable but we are a team and we are always making positive improvements along the way.
