My eldest daughter is 11yrs old! self harms, makes it clear she doesn’t want to be alive & struggles every single day. My youngest is 5 & currently going through it along with having IBS. She struggles to communicate & understand the simplest of things but always shows me a smile. Both my daughters have the same condition with very different ways and personalities.
My girls have changed my life & I feel so blessed to there mum! They make you appreciate the little things in life & brings so much joy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a hard & lonely world for autism parents but these 2 beautiful girls make it all worth it! Im just thankful that the girls are in an amazing school & support me and Dad with both of them….I would be lost without them!
The lack of support that is available is truly shocking & more needs to be done to support these children so they can lead a fulfilling life. I have found so many closed doors with seeking help for my elder daughter & I just want her to be safe from self harm. I feel if more money was pumped into these charities & the system……the. change would happen for the better as they have the funding. Please donate & support children & adults with Autism. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
