I am walking for my son, Lucas
I am walking for my son, Lucas, who was diagnosed with autism in February 2023. Lucas is nonverbal, autistic, and has global developmental delay.
He is the happiest little boy, full of love and affection, and he has brought so much joy into our lives and the lives of many others.
Every day, Lucas faces new challenges while navigating a world that can often feel overwhelming. Unfortunately, many people don’t fully understand autism, know little about it, or even acknowledge its existence.
We need to raise awareness—not just for Lucas, but for every child, their friends, your friends, and so many more. Awareness and understanding can make a difference for everyone, no matter where they are.
