I'm walking for Amelia
I'm participating in the walk for autism to support my niece, Amelia, who has autism. My sister fought hard to secure a place for Amelia in a special education school since the public school couldn’t provide the care she needed. Now, Amelia travels over an hour to get to school, but she loves it there and has made so many friends. I want to help raise funds to ensure she and other children receive the necessary support. Amelia is such a lovely young lady who excels at baking, drawing, and now running. My efforts in this walk are my way of advocating for her and contributing to the resources and opportunities that can enhance the lives of children with autism.
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
