My goal 5000 steps

I'm walking for my son, Dominic.

I’m raising funds for autism! Please sponsor me today! I’m taking part in the Walk for Autism challenge.

I’ll be walking 5,000 steps a day from 26 March to 2 April. Please sponsor me. Anything helps.

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every person on the autism spectrum has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'm walking for my son, Dominic who is 3 years old but will be 4 years old in April this year. He is autistic and has severe learning disabilities and difficulties. He needs around the clock 24/7 hours care. He also has a sleep disorder called RMD (rhythmic movement disorder) which is heart breaking to watch at times but nothing I can do for him but let him be. He's such a happy little boy, funny character at times but with autism comes aggression so we also have bad days often. It's not all sunshine and rainbows like most think or a walk in the park. Being a SEN parent is hard but it is very rewarding. Dominic is also nonverbal and has no danger awareness. He is very limited to what he eats too so he is under a dietician. He's under so many specialists for different things which is amazing for him to have the support I'm place.

I’ve stepped up to Walk for Autism to show how much I care about autism. Help make my steps count and show your support by donating today!

Thank you for helping me to spread autism acceptance and understanding.

I myself suffer with disabilities! I have fibromyalgia, syringomyelia, sciatica and many more health conditions. So this journey is going to be extremely challenging and painful to say the least but I want to show my support for the autistic community and also for my little boy who means the whole world to me.

So let's do this together, Thank you!
