Another shoutout to all the wonderful businesses who supported us, you're all amazing and we're so grateful 🥰❤️.

We're at a whopping £1,137.00 raised for Autism Initiatives 😱 we couldn't be anymore thrilled. We never dreamt of raising this amount of money and having our story shared by so many ☺️. It has been a pleasure taking part in this year's Walk for Autism and i'm so proud of what we have all achieved.

Another massive thank you to everyone who has donated, supported, shared our story, brought raffle tickets and /or entered one of our competitions, we have been absolutely blown away 🥹🫶.

Another thank you to the Horse and Groom, Moorgreen for sharing our story, having a collection pot on their bar and for the raffle they completed too 🥰. You're the best guys 🙏

Walk Complete!

And that's a wrap! ☺️

We finished on a total of 109,521 dino steps walked 🥰😘. (Thats over 12 hours in the Dino suit 😅🤣)

The charity bucket raised £169.01 in 8 days 🙏🥰 - thank you to everyone who contributed ❤️.

Together with an additional £96 from a raffle held at the Horse and Groom (btw thank you so much guys, you're awesome 🙌😘❤️) we are at £1,020!

We have our final raffle to add/ draw too 😬(I will reveal prizes very soon and tickets will be available to follow) and . . . I'm taking part in the inflatable fun run too (15k- 92 obstacles) on 13th April 🤪.

Please note our Fundraiser is closing 26th April so any last min donations, please bear that in mind and leave yourself time 😊.

Day 1 and Day 2 Complete

First two days are complete and I've loved doing the steps and chatting to lots of wonderful people about our fundraising. I've been blown away by people's genoristy and it's been a pleasure discussing the wonderful world of neurodiversity with everyone. I've been lucky with the dry weather so far, however I did nearly fly away in the dinosaur today due to the wind picking up 😀! Freddie is really excited to get started from Friday too 🙌 thank you to everyone for following our journey

Practice Steps

Raffle

Following the overwhelming support we have received from Nottingham in our fundraising challenge we are running a raffle with all proceeds going to our fundraiser ☺️. Tickets will be on sale very soon! Mapping our route

Thank you to everyone for your continued support in our fundraising challenge 🙏💚, we've been so humbled by all the local support too 🥰🫶. We've been busy mapping our route - to give some perspective- 10,000 steps is around 8km and we've equated it will take 7 and a half laps of our local park and around 1 hour 45 mins to complete, all whilst in our Dino costumes and not just for 1 day but for 8 days 🤣, so its no easy task. . . 😅, however, we're looking forward to starting on 26th March and please, pray for dry weather and no wind 🙏😅.

We're running an additional guess the name of the bunny competition with all proceeds going to our fundraiser. I've approached a few local businesses about the bunny sitting there, so will let you know as soon as possible where he will be situated, in the meantime, guesses are welcome on my Facebook page 😀. What can we say ? Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🥹, to each and every one of you who have supported our challenge and who continue to do so, we are so very grateful. Now we have surpassed £500 😱 and we could not be anymore grateful ❤️ Fred is over the moon to be a 'fundraising legend' and I know he will wear his gold medal with pride. Much love ❤️

A refresh on why we are taking part!

Just a refresh on why we are taking part ❤️. As a family, we are walking for our superstar Freddie. Fred was diagnosed ASD /ADHD just over a year ago. It seems our story is quite rare, in the fact that, Fred attends an amazing school who evidently recognise and understand SEN needs, this enabled us to obtain a diagnosis surprisingly quickly, Fred has then been paired with a wonderful paediatrician who took the time to talk to myself about my understanding and how as a family we could educate ourselves further, which prompted my mass of 'learning', since then we have worked tirelessly as a family tweaking life for Fred at home and school and he his thriving. We know our story has been fortunate that support, diagnosis, his school, everyone has been 100% behind us, so we are raising funds and awareness not only for Fred's future but also to help the world catch up and hopefully then every child will be supported just as well as Fred. ❤️

Wow, wow, wow

We are absolutely blown away by everyone's support and generosity. We started with a fundraising goal of £125, after reaching this we raised it to £200, then £250, then £300 and now we are currently at over £350!!!

This is a very important journey for us and are so very grateful to everyone following our journey 🙏

So we've decided to walk our 80,000 steps riding dinosaurs! 😊 Check out our latest photos. We're still planning our 8 days but we hope to be walking lots of local places so keep an eye out and show your support if you see us!

Our dreams!

We have a very fortunate story, our little boy's struggles were recognised and supported very early. Not only that but we are part of an extremely supportive school and my little boy has a class of very understanding friends, we would love this to become the 'normal' for every child. Every child should be given the support to thrive in school. That's our aim and we want to make it a reality !
