Derbyshire Three Peaks

Sunday 30th March (Mothering Sunday)
So proud to say that myself and my group (Hannah, Sue,  Dawn, Rachael and Claire) managed to successfully complete the Derbyshire Three Peaks today! It was super windy at times with winds reaching 40mph but motivation remained consistently high and I'm so proud of all of us. Roughly 22 miles and took 10 hours to complete. We reached the three highest peaks in Derbyshire: Bleaklow Head,  Higher Shelf Stones and Kinder Scout. Thank you as well to our guide Rachel at Peak Walking Adventures who was absolutely awesome.

Mam Tor (Mother Hill)

Saturday 29th March
Such a beautiful day to scale Mam Tor today with my little people. It was really windy at the top but the views were sensational. Really proud of both of my little people for tackling this adventure and absolutely smashing it.

Our story 🫶

We're back for our 3rd year and ready to get started!. As detailed in previous years, I'm walking for my little boy Freddie who was diagnosed ASD and ADHD two years ago at the age of 5. Freddie is such an inspiration to me, he has opened up my eyes to a completely new world and I could not be prouder to be his mum. Freddie has been really well supported throughout his journey to date, we are so lucky, however, as with all neurodiverse people, every day life poses a challenge and fighting for inclusion and acceptance is a sad reality. Whilst I do believe that more understanding is happening there is still a long way to go and it's our pleasure to take on this challenge to help make that happen. Every bit of awareness out there helps improve the life of those living with neurodiversity and help change the future for children like Freddie.
