My boys

My 2 youngest boys are both autistic. Their daily lives are impacted greatly by the things they have to overcome. They have a great mama bear to fight tooth and nail for them (which I have done many many times) and I will fight for them until my last breath leaves me.  Things like this sponsored walk, will hopefully get people talking about autism, which raises awareness and educates the people who know very little or even nothing about the condition. Its not a 'badge of honour' or 'golden ticket' as some people who should know better would have you believe, its a lifelong condition that can be debilitating, distressing and confusing for the autistic person and exhausting and stressful for their parents, carers and other family members. Even if you can just spare £1 it will all add up and go towards making a difference.
