Myself and Mick will be taking part in Walk for Autism 2024 for our special little Jesse 🦖🤍
As some of you may know our son Jesse was officially Diagnosed with ASD in July 2023.
He is Preverbal and presents with significant communication, social, sensory and learning difficulties.
Our autism journey has not been an easy one and we are forever learning not only new things about Jesse everyday but how we can better support him as parents and as a family.
We have been blessed with various avenues of support over the last 2 years which have helped support us both at home and with Jesse’s education. Without such services we wouldn’t have known where to start with supporting Jesse.
Although this is the case there is lots of room for improvement and fundraising is a vital part of this to help children like Jesse to thrive.
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every person on the autism spectrum has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
