I'm walking for...... My Brother Ellis

I’m raising funds for autism! Please sponsor me today! Me and my mum will be taking part in the Walk for Autism challenge. well be walking 10,000 steps each a day from 26th March and end 2nd April on world autism acceptance day. Please sponsor us. Anything helps.This Charity is very close to our hearts as my little brother has autism, when he was young, we couldn’t understand why he was behind with all his milestones, why he struggled with sensory so much, but we found answers pretty quick and he was so fortunate to get diagnosed quite quickly as it can be a really long process for many, we had lots of challenges on the way but the support he had when he changed to a special needs school was amazing he come on in leaps and bounds. Ellis has tasks now that he cannot cope with, social event, staying out for to long, loud places but when you meet him where he is comfortable he is the most loving,caring,gentle,giant you could know. We’ve found through elliss journey hes had lots of looks and comments, which shouldn’t happen but theres still so many people who dont understand him like we do thats why we are supporting the Walk for Autism, which is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every person on the autism spectrum has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
