Why I am doing this.
Peole learning more about autism has always been very important to me as I and many of my friends have to live with it daily. I am currently trying to get diagnosed but due to being in the 16-18 age bracket the NHS has no help that they can do for me. I also work with SEN children and with more people understanding autism alot of them can get more of the support that they need through friends and loved ones. By doing this I feel I am doing my part to try and help my community as much as I can :)I am currently getting diagnosed for autism and have alot of friends with autism who could use the extra support. I also work with SEN children and think that people need to be more educated on what autism is and how to help to make sure that these people
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
