My reason for running,

Running has never come naturally to me, in fact, I used to really dislike it! But I saw this as the perfect opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone and make those miles count by raising funds for a cause that truly matters, and that makes it all worthwhile.

I was inspired to take this on by my colleague Kathryn's little boy, Jacob. Jacob is autistic, and he’s such an incredible boy! Knowing him has taught me so much, and I’d love to give back in a way that can support him and so many other families.

I’d be so grateful for your support as I take on this challenge, every step is for Jacob and for Autism UK💙

I'm running for.....

I’m not a runner – in fact, I only started running in August, but this October, I have set myself the challenge of running 60km in support of Autism UK

Taking on this challenge feels like a small way I can help make a difference, by raising both awareness and funds for the vital support that Autism UK provides to individuals and families.

Run for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

Please sponsor me, any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated 😊

A wonderful organisation- autism services are chronically under-funded and under-resourced so charities like this have been a lifeline for my family.
