Why I'm walking for autism
After recently being diagnosed with autism as an adult I wanted to do something to help people like me that struggle with tasks that seem trivial to the average person but are a big deal to many of us. I have also chosen to walk for autism as I understand that many may require additional support and help with their needs also I'm happy to support further research as it may help me understand myself and my traits more 😊I'm walking for everyone who has austim
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.
I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
