My Walk for Autism Challenge

Total 99,083 steps

My goal 80000 steps

Day 8

And we’re done!

Thank you everyone who donated, every donation big or small means a lot!❤️

Day 7

We’ve had a bit of a bad day with Scarlett today, a lot of tantrums and a lot of not sharing with her sister!
Work this evening was a lovely break😂 and gave me a bit of a boost in my step count!

Day 6

Didn’t do anything too exciting today! Out to Braintree and then home to play in the sunshine for a bit

Day 5

Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

Over half way now!

Today me, Alan and the kids went to Colchester bowling and then to my parents for dinner.
It was lovely Mother’s Day💕

Day 4

Another slightly slower day today!
A bit more gardening and then we went out for lunch🥰

Day 3

We had a poorly Violet last night so after a restless night I didn’t really have the energy to do more. Just made it over 10000 step though!

Day 2

Day 2 we spend a lot of time in the garden in the sunshine!

It turns out because the time on my smart watch isn’t accurate it’s been resetting my step count at around 2pm when it thinks it’s midnight! Hoping to fix that tomorrow🤞🏼

Day 1

Accidentally restarted my step count half way through the day😅

Today we had a good run around soft play💕

Just 2 sisters walking for...... our daughter and son!

For those who know me and Alice personally, know that I (Lucy) have an amazing daughter Scarlett, who’s just turned 3. Scarlett was diagnosed with autism last year. And Alice has a wonderful son called Wolfie who is also 3 and been diagnosed with autism and developmental delay. Both Scarlett & Wolfie are non-verbal. They are the reason why supporting this charity to help improve the quality and variety of available services is so important to me!

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊
