Hi! I’m Stevie-Jean and I’m Walking for Autism!

Hi everyone! My name is Stevie-Jean, I'm almost 11 years old, and I'm doing something super important (and also kind of fun!) with my dad - we're doing Walk for Autism! 

That means we have to walk 10,000 steps every day for 8 days. That's 80,000 steps each! My legs are already tired but it's totally worth it. 

We're doing it for my amazing little sisters, Georgie-Rae (she's 9) and Audrie-Rose (she's almost 6). They both have autism & ADHD, and every day they work really hard to do things that can be tricky, like going to school, dealing with noisy places, and understanding things that might be easy for other people. But they are super clever and funny and brave, and I'm really proud of them. 

Me & Daddy are walking to raise money to help other people like my sisters get the help they need. We've raised £705 so far which is AMAZING!!

We're also having a bit of a competition.....

DAY ONE: Daddy won! He did more steps than me!
DAY TWO: I totally beat him - I even used the walking pad and took a pretend walk to Hogsmeade (yes, like in Harry Potter!).

We're doing loads of walking, even before school and after dinner!

I'm walking for...... my sisters! I’m Stevie and I am almost 11 years old, I’m so proud of my sisters, they overcome so many challenges!

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.
