My goal 80000 steps

Day 8!!

WALK FOR AUTISM COMPLETED!!!
Day eight done!!! Walk for autism! ❤️
Final day of Walk For Autism completed on world Autism day! Rocking the last day in Harry Potter onesies with my mini me, Emily. And Oliver joined us for a walk too!
98,914 steps done in 8 days! Pretty impressive for someone with a chronic illness!

Day 7!!

Day seven done!!! Today we decided to climb a bloody HUGEEE hill (not a mountain 😂). Win Hill in the peak district. JUST 1 MORE DAY LEFT!!! WE'VE GOT THIS! 💪😘

Day 6!!

Think I've outdone myself this time... out as a bloody seagull, Jess was a cat, and my daughter Emily even joined us, dressed as Angel! Lots of laughs were definitely had.. (Mainly at my expense)!

Day 5!!

Spent the day at Bradgate Park with the wildlife, dressed as pandas!

Day 4!!

WE ARE HALF WAY THERE!!!!! 4 MORE DAYS AND WE ARE DONE! 🙈
Walk down Glen Parva nature reserve to the park in pokemon onesies.. but ended up having a detour to the cafe for food and drink as I took a funny turn with my illness! But we completed the 10,000 steps in the end so winning!

Day 3!!

Walk around Thornton reservoir with my little monkey!

Day 2!!

Today we went for a walk around watermead lakes... in sesame street onesies. A little tribute to my little boy who loves sesame street!

Day 1!!

Little trip through town to Abbey Park and back in our Yoda and Scooby Doo onesies.. Because, why not!!

We are walking for..... Our gorgeous boys!

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking a total of 10,000 steps a day 26th March and 2nd April to raise money for this charity.

Autism affects so many lives in so many ways. Both you and Jess's efforts in achieving close to a 100,000 steps ment you didnt just hit your 80,000 target you smashed it out the park. Absolutely Brilliant work. We are all so very proud of you even if you did go out runing around Leicester dressed as a seagull 🪿
