Cycle outside in the fresh air,
cycle at home or cycle at the gym
Cycle for Autism is a fundraising challenge to cycle 10km, 80km or set your own distance. You can choose the time you do your cycle challenge and you can choose your own routes too!
Cycle for Autism is a virtual event that means you can do it at your own pace, in your own time. There are no organised events to attend.
You can go solo, or cycle in a team it's up to you!
As part of the registration process you will create your very own online fundraising page. Simply follow the straightforward instructions, upload a photo, tell your story and ta-dah! Your fundraising page will be ready to share!
When you have raised your first £20 on your fundraising page, we will send you a FREE Cycle for Autism T-shirt that you can wear with pride on your Cycle for Autism rides.
Counting your kilometres
Use your phone to count your kilometres or search 'free cycle ride tracker' in your app store. You can then manually add the KMs to your page. Alternatively use MapMyFitness, Garmin or Fitbit to connect to your fundraising page.
Cycling 10km (which is approx 6.4 miles) will take between 45 minutes to an hour at a leisurely speed. If using a flat route and you are a confident cyclist you may be able to ride this distance in a speedy 30 minutes! However what's the rush? Take your time on your Cycle for Autism ride.
If 10km or 80km is not enough of a challenge for you? Or do you want to reduce your kms? You can always set your own distance on your fundraising page.
Cycling outside in the fresh air or cycling at home or in the gym ... every pedal turn and every pound raised will count!
By taking part in a Cycle for Autism fundraising challenge, you will help provide the best opportunities for autistic people to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them. What are you waiting for?
Let's do this!
