Terms & Conditions
Cycle for Autism
Terms & Conditions of Participation
Cycle for Autism includes not only the Cycle for Autism Challenge event, but all other activities relating to Cycle for Autism, whether occurring before, during or after the event, and whether organised by Autism Initiatives Group or any other party, including myself.
I understand that Cycle for Autism is not a group event. It is an individual challenge and can be undertaken as such.
I understand that participants under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian read and accept these Terms & Conditions of entry on their behalf.
Autism Initiatives Group reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse your registration for Cycle for Autism or to disqualify you from Cycle for Autism for breach of these terms and conditions or for any other reason Autism Initiatives Group determines appropriate.
Physical Risk Notice
I understand that Cycle for Autism is a recreational activity that involves physical exertion and may involve activity in bad weather, high temperatures and upon uneven terrain. The risks of participation in Cycle for Autism are increased if I choose to participate without a properly maintained bicycle, appropriate cycling equipment e.g. helmet etc or inappropriate attire that risks safe participation, or if I have, or did have, certain medical conditions.
I acknowledge that the above is not an exhaustive list of all risks inherent in my participation in Cycle for Autism. I further acknowledge that there may be risks that are not known or reasonably foreseeable at this time.
I acknowledge that Autism Initiatives Group has not undertaken an assessment of my ability to participate but that Autism Initiatives Group recommends that I consult a doctor before participating in Cycle for Autism if I have any condition that may make it dangerous for me to participate.
